Adrien Lacroix is 8 years old and the youngest of three. Because his parents are constantly working/traveling he and his siblings have been raised primarily by nannies. His older sister Briella is a violin prodigy and his older brother Mattheau is gifted with electronics. With such talented siblings Adrien has been pushed to find something he excels at. He enjoys playing piano and learning spanish even though both activities were pushed on him. He really loves comic books though, and watching superhero cartoons. His dream is film a big blockbuster superhero movie.
Recently Adrien got ahold of one of Mattheau’s introductory summoning books and decided to try it out. With (unknowingly) only a partial summoning formula, he’s extremely lucky that he messed up in such a way that his home’s enchantments fueled most of the summoning instead of himself. On accident, he managed to summon a high-level shapeshifting spirit that has now taken the form and name of Voltron, a robot from one of Adrien’s favorite TV shows. In public Voltron looks and acts like a normal robot action figure but In private Voltron stands roughly 8 feet tall and though it rarely speaks, it has become Adrien’s best friend. Adrien’s siblings and friends don’t believe him when he says he summoned a spirit, and his nannies and teachers are too unobservant to notice. The nature of their contract is unknown, as Adrien didn’t know enough when summoning and Voltron hasn’t spoken of what it wants. It seems content for now to play babysitter, although it’s only a matter of time before someone notices a high-level spirit walking around.
